Compliance FAQ

Labour law questions, answered

The main law is the Employment Code Act No. 3 of 2019, together with the Industrial and Labour Relations Act and statutory instruments such as minimum wage orders. Tax and social security rules come from ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA and the Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board.

For employees on long-term (fixed-term) contracts, the Employment Code Act requires gratuity of not less than 25% of the basic pay earned during the contract period.

Employees in continuous employment are entitled to annual leave on full pay of at least two days for each month of service.

We prepare documentation, run fair internal processes and support you through labour office matters. For court representation we work alongside your legal advisers.

This page gives general guidance, not legal advice. Statutory rates and rules change; we always apply the current requirements in client work.
